Leadership Trainings in Organizations:
Organizations spend huge amounts on trainings. Leadership trainings are more crucial in any organization. All people are not equally trainable. Leadership trainings are more successful with individuals who have high self monitor, these individuals have the flexibility to change their behavior.
For high leader effectiveness, an individual should have a vision, these trainings can teach implementation skills, they can be trained to develop an understanding about content themes critical to effective vision. They can learn how to evaluate situations, this is taught under situational analysis training. How can one modify situations to make them fit better to their style is an important task.
Case breakdown: Movie Robin-hood:
Similar to the scene that we just saw, Little john (played by Jamie Foxx) is training Robin (played by Taron Egerton). Now Robin is already a sharp shooter but he is becoming a better version of himself over this period. He is learning how to shoot 3 arrows at a single go. He is also learning how to judge situations by following patterns and adopting.
As you can see in the last part of the scene, he is quickly adopts and hits the last board without even seeing it.
Similarly, organizations look for managers who have transformative qualities. They want leaders with vision and charisma to achieve that vision. Many individuals with leadership vision can enhance their skills through the following:
